My experience with Web.com's customer support completely contradicts what I just read, I strongly recommend their feature rich options that save me hundreds of dollars on my total Internet marketing budget.

My site is hosted with Web.com for more then 2 years now, I can't imagine going anywhere else. Originally I signed up when they were called WebsitePros, at that time they only offered Do-it-for-me hosting/design/marketing services. They switched to Web.com about a year ago; at that time I noticed they added the plain hosting option reviewed above. With the attention and concern for my business's success I get from every person I've interacted with, I'm sure the growing pains the reviewer experienced above greatly concern the new Web.com.

I use their eWorksXL product, which offers much more then just hosting. Ticket support is not an option, but I can call or simply email and my issues are cleared up right away.

Unlike the reviewers experience above, I have never had a problem with customer support and never spoke with agents from overseas, strongest accent I ever had to deal with was from a Southern Bell. When I asked her where she is from she said, "Mobile, AL, but I moved to Jacksonville, FL to work for Web.com".

I can call 8 to 8 to get billing, design, SEO and marketing support at no additional cost. On many occasions I have had a need for tech support in the middle of the night and never had a problem getting them on the phone. Longest I've ever waited for an agent is 15 minutes and that was at 2am.

I'm not a webmaster, so I prefer the added features that come with my package including analytics, directory submissions, banner advertising, toll free number, email marketing, list building, and auto responder tools. They make search marketing easy with the guaranteed clicks of their Smart Clicks program. Time and time again, I have saved thousands of dollars in image royalties by using the fully stocked image library they make available for their customers.

Once, I was in flight to a business meeting and needed to modify my site, all I had to do was call Web.com and in less then 30 minutes the agent completed the changes with me on the phone and had it published before I made my presentation. In other situations when I didn't have time to make a modification to my site all I had to do is send an email to modsrequests@web.com and within a day my changes have been completed by their design team. I haven't been able to find a hosting company that provides a comparable level of service without added cost. My recommendation, if you run a small business that needs a web presence, no other host/design company will save you more or give you more to run a successful Internet marketing campaign.

The alternative is to find the cheapest host out there, hire a webmaster, search marketing agency, designer, pay huge set up fees, pay to maintain the site, go out and get all of the extras Web.com includes in the eWorksXL package.

I've done extensive research, I figure I am saving more then $200 a month by hosting with Web.com. Not to mention I avoided any set up fees and without a contract. The cheapest alternative I was able to find was $300 just to get set up, then more then $150 every month to get all of the SEO and marketing support and tools I needed. To get something comparable to what I have found with Web.com I wasn't able to get out the door for less then a grand and much higher monthly maintenance fees for design, SEO, and marketing help; all on top of needing to subscribe to 3rd party services to get everything I get under one roof with Web.com.

Lastly, about a year ago I experienced some health issues and couldn't afford to maintain my website. In order to make ends meet, I called to cancel my subscription. I was meet with compassion and empathy from the customer support agent. In an effort to help me succeed they skipped several months of billing until I was able to reinstate my income.

I'd just like to say... Thank you Web.com my website traffic and income from the site grows every month.
